After a nice summer break, we are back to school again. Karina Torres has joined the Eternal Anchor team as director of the school. She is doing a great job and we are so grateful for her service and love for the children.
There has been a lot of progress made on our home in Zapata. Hopefully by the end of this month, we’ll start moving in! It looks beautiful and we are abundantly grateful to God and to everyone who has donated or come to build.
Thank you for your prayers last month. Austin and Deborah had great trips to Washington, Montana, and Indiana. We received so many commitments to pray, give, and come to serve alongside us next year. We thank God for all of our partners in the United States and Canada. As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.”
- Please join us in prayer as we hire more local teachers for our school. Pray that God sends people that have a passion to serve God by serving children.
- We now have 44 children in our school! There are many more on our waiting list but in order to pick them up, we need another bus. We are praying for a 22 passenger bus with a wheelchair lift. If you’d like to donate one or money to purchase one, please email us at info@eternalanchor.org.
- Our summer visitor schedule is starting to fill up! We are still praying for more groups to come down to help us with the second home we are building. If you’d like more information, please contact us soon so we can sign you and your team up.
