This year’s Love Extended week was amazing. Four physical therapists, one occupational therapist and two handymen came and provided consults to 55 children and adults with special needs. Families were given valuable information and practical activities to help their children. Therapy equipment and wheelchairs were shared with families. More than 50 members of the community attended the Love Extended conference where they learned about physical therapy and special education. And we were able to share a fun day at the pools with the children from our community center and their families. God’s love and hope spread throughout the region. We look forward to what God will do next year!
Because of God’s provision and the hard work of those partnering with Eternal Anchor through Welcome Home Outreach Ministries, we are seeing incredible progress with our home. It’s so exciting to watch this land transform into a beautiful home for our boys. Thank you for your prayers and generosity!
Last month, we had the privilege of throwing a quinciñera (15th birthday party) for Marcela, one of the teachers at our community center. God has brought Marcela so far in the time we have known her. It was an honor to celebrate this milestone with her and all of the staff from the center. God is doing great things through Marcela’s life and we are so grateful that she is part of the Eternal Anchor family.
- Please continue to pray for the building project of our home. We are trusting God to provide the money to finish one home and one apartment by the end of this summer. - God has blessed Eternal Anchor and given us the resources so we can offer special education, physical therapy and life skills to 37 children at our community center. Yet there are still dozens of children on our waitlist waiting to be accepted into our program. With more monthly support to cover gasoline and teacher stipends, we could bring in more children that don’t have access to an education. One way you can help is by sponsoring a child.
