Our friends, Doug and Linda Pettit, have been a huge blessing to us in the last couple of months. Linda was a huge help when we were taking care of Leecha and Doug met a big need by picking up the children for a week when we had no driver. He has also done a lot of maintenance around our house and community center and last week he fixed our van when our tire was slashed and the battery was stolen. We are so grateful to have such amazing friends!
A message from Austin: I want to thank my family, friends, and ministry partners for an amazing two weeks in Washington. A big thank you to Crosspoint Church in Lynden, Discovery Church in Tacoma, Chewelah Evangelical Free Church in Chewelah, and the group of churches from Missoula and Lolo, Montana for allowing me to speak at your churches and share what God is doing through Eternal Anchor. I also want to thank Discovery Church, their missions team and board members, Alex and Rachel Robinson, for fundraising for Eternal Anchor during the month of November. Through their missions campaign, Eternal Anchor has been blessed with two 4WD vehicles, outdoor play equipment, and toys for the children. It’s amazing to see more and more churches partnering with Eternal Anchor to help children with special needs in Baja.
We are so excited to receive Alfredo into our home. He has been attending our community center for many months and will be living at Eternal Anchor’s home to receive much-needed medical attention and care. Please keep him in your prayers while he is transitioning and pray that he is able to get the surgery he needs for his legs.
- Please continue to pray for the funds to purchase land to build two homes for 10 children with special needs. We have raised $6,023.95 and we need another $13,976.05 to pay off the land and start building. We are also praying for groups to raise money and bring down teams to help with the construction. If you want to bring a group to help build, please email us at info@eternalanchor.org. To donate for the land, please Click Here. For Canadian donations, please Click Here. Thank you!
- Please pray for the health of all the children we work with. The nights are getting very cold and a lot of the children have been getting sick.
- On Friday, we will be taking a group of children and their parents to a children’s hospital in Tijuana where they will be able to consult with specialists. Pray for a safe journey there and back and that the bus won’t break down. Also pray that each of the families receive information that will help them understand and help their children.
