Happy World Down Syndrome Day! We have the privilege of working with some very special people with Down syndrome and we thank God for each of their lives.
We had a blast celebrating birthdays of some of the children at the school. Music, a piñata and cake made the day very special!
Last week, we had a team of physical and speech therapists down to train staff and assess the children in our program. They did an amazing job equipping our teachers and they left us with some fantastic ideas to help our children make progress in these areas.
- We praise God for the $13,000 that have come in for the school land. We still need $17,000 so please keep praying and sharing the need with people you know. As soon as we have the money, our friends at Mission San Quintin will be partnering with us to build the school. - We are currently finalizing the list for this year’s Love Extended campaign. We are looking for PTs, OTs, Speech Therapists, Special Ed Teachers, Mobility/Vision Specialists, and any other related specialists to come and train staff, train families, and assess the children and adults we work with from July 8-15. If you or someone you know wants to join the team, please email us.
- Deborah and Austin will be going to the United States and Canada to speak at churches and share what God is doing at Eternal Anchor. If you’d like either of them to visit your church, school, or small group this year, please email us.
