We our so proud of our community outreach team who work diligently to break down the barriers that prevent people with special needs from accessing their communities. They are always looking for creative solutions to improve mobility and independence, like recycling donated AFOs for this sweet boy.

The students in our adult program have been doubling their efforts to raise local support for our program expenses. Last week, Sergio and Ruth brought some bracelets that were made by our students to the local market. They did a great job and sold many bracelets to shoppers and vendors. The proceeds from their sales help defray operation costs and each of the students gets money for every bracelet they make. As we’ve mentioned in previous newsletters, donations have been down for the last few months. If you’re able to sign up to give monthly, it would be a huge blessing. You can also help by purchasing some of the items from our Amazon Wish List.

We are making great progress on our new Adaptive Equipment Workshop. When it’s finished, it will be the headquarters for our community outreach department and the space where we build and adapt equipment to improve independence and mobility for people with special needs in our community.

  • Please pray for a restful and rejuvenating summer break for our staff and students.
  • Please pray for funding for our school build. We are raising money for a building that will give us the capacity to double in size and offer quality specialized education to even more children (to donate to the school build, click HERE).
  • Please pray for new houseparents for our residential program. We are looking for a couple to take over one of the homes and offer loving, full-time care to six children.
