Educational Oasis: Within our walls, a school thrives, serving as an educational oasis for 30 children with disabilities. Here, minds are nurtured, talents are discovered, and futures are shaped with the care and dedication they deserve. 

Forever Homes: Across two homes, eight children and young adults find solace and belonging, surrounded by love and support as they navigate life’s journey. These homes aren’t just shelters, but sanctuaries where hearts find healing and spirits soar. 

Healing Hooves: Our horse therapy program is a testament to the transformative power of connection. Through the gentle rhythm of hoofbeats, individuals discover newfound strength, resilience, and joy, transcending limitations with each stride.

Mobility Matters: In the San Quintin Valley and beyond, custom mobility equipment becomes a lifeline for those in need. From wheelchairs to adaptive devices, we bridge the gap between obstacles and independence, empowering individuals to navigate the world on their own terms.

Friendship Club Without Barriers: For older teens and young adults, our Friendship Club Without Barriers provides a vital space to foster connections, share experiences, and embrace the joys of companionship without limitations. Here, friendships bloom, skills are honed, and possibilities are explored, creating a vibrant community where everyone is welcomed with open arms.

But the impact doesn’t end there. Eternal Anchor’s reach extends far beyond these tangible manifestations of daily care. It’s in the laughter of a child taking her first steps, the quiet determination of a student mastering a new skill, and the unwavering support of a community rallying behind those who need it most.

As the warm embrace of summer approaches, Eternal Anchor is gearing up to welcome a variety of visiting groups eager to delve into the heart of our disability services program. With each passing year, our mission to foster inclusion, dignity, and empowerment for individuals with disabilities continues to resonate deeply, drawing diverse groups to join hands with us in this endeavor. 

This summer promises to be no different, as we eagerly prepare the arrival of these several beloved partners, each bringing their unique perspective and passion to our efforts. Among these cheristed allies are Otter Creek Church, TeamUp Canada, Love Extended, a group of friends from Seattle, and the all-new Love Extended Education team, alongside other dedicated organizations and churches. Together, we form a tapestry of collaboration, united in our commitment to championing the rights and well-being of those with disabilities. 

At the heart of our summer activities lies the invaluable experience of firsthand engagement with our mission and ministry. Through immersive programs and community outreach initiatives, visiting groups have the opportunity to witness the transformative impact of our services on the lives of the individuals and families we serve. From vocational training to recreational therapy, each facet of our programs reflects our unwavering dedication to fostering holistic development and independence.

We’re delighted to share exciting news: Eternal Anchor and the University of Ensenada San Quintin Campus (UNIENS) have forged a powerful collaboration that underscores the importance of local partnerships. Understanding the significant role Eternal Anchor plays in the San Quintin Valley and the immense potential individuals with disabilities hold within our community, UNIENS students specializing in Business Administration, Education Sciences, and Logistics will now have the opportunity to lend their professional expertise to Eternal Anchor.

Deborah Garcia, co-founder and Director of Justice and Equity at Eternal Anchor, expressed the sentiment shared by both organizations, “Together, we are nurturing a culture of unity, empathy, and empowerment. This partnership symbolizes our collective commitment to amplifying our impact and working hand-in-hand with UNIENS towards achieving justice and equity for individuals with disabilities.”
