WHO WE ARE

Eternal Anchor was founded in 2014 to respond to the unmet opportunity of serving individuals and families impacted by disability in the communities of rural Baja California, Mexico, a region with almost no government or private resources invested in those with special needs.

Today we serve more than 250 families, continually striving for excellence through:
  • Residential Care and Foster Care
  • Social Work
  • Special Education
  • Early Intervention
  • Life Skills Training
  • Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapy
  • Health Services
  • Horse and Garden Therapy
  • Adaptive and Mobility Equipment Distribution
  • Political and Legal Advocacy

We work hard to heal social divisions so that all members of our community can be valued, experience belonging, and reach their God-given potential. Our team includes conservative and progressive Protestants and Catholics, together working to demonstrate God’s heart for those with disabilities and their families.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Five “Ships” of Eternal Anchor:

ALLYSHIP

We are committed to advocating for and with individuals who have been marginalized by disability.

FRIENDSHIP

We are committed to authentic friendships, valuing people above productivity and love over achievement.

KINSHIP

We are committed to providing a loving home to our children; a place where they live life in family; a place where they are loved unconditionally.

STEWARDSHIP

We are committed to financial transparency, ethical fundraising, and healthy community development practices.

WORSHIP

We are committed to inclusive worship, believing that church communities are not complete while some members are unwelcome or are unable to attend.
