After a restful summer break, we’re now back to school. Abraham has been with us for more than five years now. We started working with him as a toddler. We watched him crawl for the first time, take his first steps with a walker, and now we have the pleasure of teaching him how to read and write. We’re so proud of his progress and we’re excited to continue working with his family to help him reach his full, God-given potential.
Our horse therapy clients are excited to continue with their weekly sessions at the Eternal Anchor Ranch. While we had to cut back our capacity due to health restrictions, we are now starting to take on more clients again, following the latest health department recommendations.
Last week, Jesús had a very difficult week. After multiple seizures, three infections, and two hospital visits, we’re so happy that he is finally back to his cheery self. A very special thank you to our staff, volunteers, and friends who stepped in to help with his medical care and helped with caring for the other children in the home while Jesús required one-on-one attention. A big thank you as well to everyone who prayed.
- Please join us in prayer for volunteers to come and join us full-time. We currently need education assistants for our special education school, caregivers for our residential program, and bus drivers for our education programs. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering (short- or long-term), please email us!
- Please pray for funding for our school build. We are raising money for a building that will give us the capacity to double in size and offer quality specialized education to even more children (to donate to the school build, click HERE).
- Please pray for the health of our staff and the people we serve in our different programs
