United in love: A month of collaboration & community
July has been a bustling and vibrant month for Eternal Anchor, as we warmly welcomed several visiting teams and our dedicated board of directors for their annual meeting. These teams and leaders have joined us in our mission to provide specialized programs and community outreach for the San Quintin Valley.
Two Love Extended teams partnered with us this month, continuing a decade-long tradition. The healthcare team marked its 9th consecutive year of collaboration with Eternal Anchor, providing essential healthcare services and training. Meanwhile, the new Love Extended Education team brought fresh energy and expertise, focusing on educational opportunities for teachers, parents, and community members.
In addition to the Love Extended teams, we were thrilled to welcome back a dedicated team from Tacoma, Washington. Their ongoing support and enthusiasm have significantly impacted our programs and the community we serve. A large team from Otter Creek Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, also joined us for the second consecutive year, contributing their time, talent, and skills to enhance our initiatives, and share their love and joy with our children, staff, and community.
As we close the month, we are excited to host TeamUp Canada again. While here, TeamUp will help support our inaugural 6K Sin Límites run, walk, and roll event. They are also hosting a low-impact sports camp designed for children with disabilities, promoting inclusion and physical activity. Adding to the momentum, Eternal Anchor’s board of directors held their annual meeting at our facility. Their strategic insights and governance are crucial to our ongoing success and growth.
All our visitors have stayed at the newly remodeled Posada Ancla Eterna, located in the heart of Vicente Guerrero. This comfortable and welcoming space has been a perfect home base for our guests as they immerse themselves in our programs.
We work closely with visiting groups to ensure a mutually beneficial experience. Their time here includes: ✦ Activities at our school. ✦ Engagement with the Friendship Club Without Barriers. ✦ Projects at Eternal Anchor’s Ranch.
At our ranch, guests can participate in horse therapy, explore our fully accessible organic gardens, and learn about our Adaptive Equipment Workshop. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a home-cooked meal and fellowship with an Eternal Anchor family, fostering deeper connections and cultural exchange.

New collaboration to enhance services for autistic children and their families
We are thrilled to announce Eternal Anchor’s new partnership with Mexico’s Secretaría de Bienestar (Secretary of Welfare) to benefit children with autism and their families. This initiative, in collaboration with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, will provide comprehensive services addressing academics, integration, socialization, and play therapy, along with essential support for parents. “We are excited to be part of this international initiative,” said Austin Robinson, Eternal Anchor’s Executive Director. “It’s equally rewarding to see our expertise and approach to disability inclusion programming acknowledged by our Secretary of Welfare. This is all possible thanks to our global network of supporters and the incredible dedication and faithfulness of our Education Services team.”
