Love Extended ends with a pool party for all the families, staff, and volunteers that participated during the week! While education, equipment, and trainings are a blessing, sometimes the most helpful part of Love Extended comes through the friendships that are made. By building a community of advocates for people with special needs, families learn that they are not alone. People with disabilities learn that they belong. During Love Extended, most home visits end with a group prayer. We thank God for the unique blessing that each child is, and encourage the families to continue to lean on God as their strength and hope.
